Tering Bay Golf & Country Club (also known as Batam Island Country Club) is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course spread across roughly 167 hectares of elevated terrain overlooking Tering Bay in Nongsa, in the northern part of Batam Island. It was designed by the global golf legend Greg Norman. Opened in 1995 and measuring about 6,200 meters, its many holes wind through undulating terrain and tropical rainforest, with water in play throughout. Numerous holes offer views of the blue sea and tropical vegetation, letting you play in refreshing sea breezes. Just a day-trip ferry ride from Singapore (about 20 km away), it is a resort course complete with on-site chalets and a golf academy.
