The Blue Canyon Lakes Course, the second course at Blue Canyon Country Club, is conveniently located near Phuket Island's airport, making it ideal for those arriving or departing the same day. The layout creatively utilizes meandering creeks and water-filled canyons, with the front nine featuring lakes and natural canyons and the back nine surrounded by rubber trees. Accuracy is crucial, as many approach shots involve navigating small creeks or canyons. The 18th hole, a long par-4, is renowned as one of Thailand’s best finishing holes. After a 2006 renovation, the Lakes Course offers a quality experience comparable to the renowned Canyon Course, with fewer blind shots and a more straightforward challenge. Although the facilities are a bit dated, they remain functional, and the friendly, well-trained caddies add to the overall enjoyable experience.
