This naturally undulating spectacle, measuring 5900 meters, is an excellent test of golf for players of all skills. "Length means nothing without character", the 1st nine is characterised by its tight tree-lined fairways, elevation differences, tightness and hazards. Careful selection of clubs is paramount, especially of the tees. Don't let your ego get in the way. It can land you in all sorts of trouble if you stray your shots. The greens on this nine are rather small and unforgiving - three and four putts are common, even to the more accomplished golfer. There is a change of scenery on the back nine. The openness and the length of the holes gives you the freedom of the tee. Again, the subtle elevation changes and strategically placed water hazards will challenge you.
